It starts every morning at 4:30. At an early age, John Hansman learned to match work ethic and accountability with a farmer's biological clock. You'll quickly learn that John's attention to detail - from the first scoop of dirt to handing you the keys - will put you at ease throughout the home building process. John formed John Hansman Construction in 2002 determined to combine the best aspects of every company with which he had worked in the previous 13 years. He built two quality spec homes that first year and currently builds 25-30 homes a year. Whether you are a new family and need a nursery adjacent to the master suite or you're a growing family who needs the additional bedrooms, John and Monica are confident they can help you. Together, they will help you build a home you will be proud to show your Mom for its beauty and proud to show your Dad for its craftsmanship and cost-consciousness.
With expert craftsmanship, a great work ethic and attention to details that their buyers want and need, John Hansman Construction continues its reputation for excellence.
John & Monica are actively involved in the community. They sponsor multiple baseball teams through Diamond Council and are proud supporters of Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. John Hansman Construction is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Home Builder's Association and Builder's Club. When the couple is not working, they enjoy spending time outdoors on their farm north of Columbia where they are raising their two boys, Benjamin and William.
OUR BUSINESS VALUES
John Hansman Construction prides itself on its support of our community by acquiring all of their labor and materials through local suppliers and subcontractors. A majority of the builder's subcontractors have worked for John from the beginning and are a testament to the importance of face-to-face communication. The company values the strong working relationship between themselves, the vendors and the subcontractors. We feel it is important to have dependable, high-skilled subcontractors who understand our expectations and complete the job accordingly.
John's wife, Monica, offers a personal touch with the home's exterior and interior selections. She makes it a point to have the color scheme flow from the outside/in so that the interior of the home feels like an extension of the exterior. With a mix of materials, most of our homes take on a craftsman style approach with clean lines, hip roofs, and front porches flanked with large tapered, square columns.
